Yesterday was J. Dilla's birthday! Got me thinking about the influence his production style has had on me over the years. I've been using the MPC for music production for over 15 years. Producers like J. Dilla and DJ Premier are some of the reasons I continue to rock with an MPC to this day.
J. Dilla passed away just days after releasing one of his most beloved albums, Donuts. While he is no longer with us today, his music lives on forever. He continues to inspire producers all over the world.
